Description

The IRS is seeking 100% small business concerns (in NAISC No. 561720) with the capability to provide custodial, trash removal, pest control, and snow removal services for the IRS Martinsburg Computing Center (MCC) Building, 250 Murall Drive, Kearneysville, WV 25430, and the Annex Buildings (Base Annex and Annex Office) Buildings, 145 Murall Drive, Kearneysville, WV 25430. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools, and equipment. Additionally, the contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified in the resulting contract. The performance period shall be from October 1, 2001 through September 30, 2002, with four one-year option periods anticipated. Should the base year and all option performance periods be exercised, the contract will have a life of 60 months, through September 30, 2006. OF SPECIAL NOTE: Roughly one third of the net cleaning square footage for this requirement conisists of computer room raised flooring. As part of the evaluation process, offerors shall be required to demonstrate experience using special cleaning procedures, specifically anti-static and moisture prevention, as specified in the specifications.
