Description

The work to be performed includes (1) removing 30 feet of existing spillway wall, (2) constructing 30 feet of reinforced spillway wall, (3) furnishing and installing 1815 feet of buried pipe drains, (4) furnishing and installing concrete manholes, (5) constructing a reinforce concrete outlet structure, and (6) completing associated earthwork reuired to complete the above items of work. The estimated price of the work is $100,001 to $500,000. The work is located at Tiber Dam, approximately 15 miles southwest of Chester, Montana, in Liberty County. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available on March 9, 2001 (See Note below). The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for April 10, 2001, at the Bureau of Reclamation, 316 North 26th Street, Room 2031 Federal Building, Billings, Montana. The contract is to be completed by no later than September 28, 2001. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation; additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the address shown above or at the Chester Field Office located below Tiber Dam, 15 miles southwest of Chester, Montana. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size standard is $17,000,000 and the standard industrial code is 1629. NOTE: THIS REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN OFFERED TO A SMALL, DISADVANTAGED FIRM UNDER SECTION 8(a) OF THE SMALL BUSINESS ACT.
