Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAKF04-01-Q-0025 is a request for quotation (RFQ) for the CLINs listed below. The requirement is to collect gray water (waste water from field showers) from field shower sites on Fort Irwin, CA and dispose of the gray water at Fort Irwin's water treatment plant. The offeror shall state the cost per day for disposing of gray water as specified in CLIN 0001. The offeror shall state the price per additional trip, in excess of the two stated in CLIN 0001. Effective 31 May 1998, the Government requires that all contractors receiving solicitations, and awards or payments of Government contracts must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Vendors must supply DUNS number and Cage Code with their quote or provide a statement of their intent to obtain them. Government Commercial Credit Card may be used as a means for payment of a contract. Offerors are requested to state whether they will accept the credit card as a method of payment. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The applicable clauses and provisions are 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commercial Items (Mar 2000), 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Feb 2000) Alternate III (Jan 1999), 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (May 1999), 52.212-5 Contract Terms And Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Feb 2000) Alternate I (Feb 2000), DFARS 52.212-7001 Contract Terms And Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (Mar 2000). This contract will be a small business set aside IAW FAR 19. CLIN 0001 Collection and Disposal of Waste Water from 03/09/01 to 04/26/01. Collection of gray water from three, 3000 gal capacity bladders located on Fort Irwin, two times per day. Gray water may be disposed of at Fort Irwin's waste water treatment plant. Times for collection are 0900 in the morning and 2200 in the evening. CLIN 0002 -- Additional Trips to Collect and Dispose of Waste Water from 03/09/01 to 04/26/01. Additional Trips (above the two required in CLIN 0001) to Fort Irwin to collect gray water from three, 3000 gal capacity bladders, and dispose of gray water in Fort Irwin's waste water treatment plant. Request offerors include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with the offer. The clause at 52.212-5 , Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
