Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Science and Technology Eastern Laboratory in Gastonia, NC has a need for consulting services. The proposed contract action is for consulting services which will allow the Eastern Laboratory to acquire the expertise of a person experienced in the design and space planning of analytical laboratories, the evaluation of obsolescence of equipment, methodology of removal and disposal of hazardous material in the equipment and options for replacement equipment to meet the standards of the Program. The contract will be awarded NTE $28,125. This effort is expected to be awarded on a sole source basis to Laboratory Environments. There will be no solicitation prepared. Inquiries are due by February 16, 2001 .
