Description

The Internal Revenue Service, Atlanta Service Center has a requirement for the removal and disposal of sensitive office waste material at its main location and two offsite locations. Service is needed each business day at the main location, weekly at one location and on call pickups at all locations available 7 days/week. Each location is within the Atlanta metropolitan area. Disposal is subject to EPA recycling regulations as well as IRS information security statutes. Any information contained in the material (primarily paper, but may contain other typical office waste including magnetic tape) is expected to be rendered irrecoverable according to IRS security specifications within 24 hours of pickup. Estimated volume per annum estimated at over 2,000,000 pounds for all sites combined. Contract to cover a five month base year and 2 twelve month options, base period beginning May 1, 2001. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal to be considered for award. Solicitation to be issued March 3, 2001.
