Description

The FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia intends to procure a = quantity of=20 two (2) highly specialized scuttles, Item No. 167-11-001: parts = CA01-1187 and=20 CA01-1188, on a sole source basis from Pemco-Naval Engineering Works. = The=20 proposed acquisition is being processed on an other than full and open=20 competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 for performance during Fiscal = Year=20 2001. The proposed action will result in a firm fixed price purchase = order. =20 Pemco-Naval Engineering Works is the only manufacturer who meets the=20 specialized configuration requirements associated with the DDG-51 class = of=20 ships and consequently is the only firm capable of providing the=20 above-described supplies. In order to be considered, responses must be = received=20 within seven (7) days after publication of this notice.
