Description

The US Army CECOM-Washington intends to award a sole source purchase order to The University of Maryland as a continuation of effort performed under Purchase Order No. DAAB15-99-P-2050 for the Development of an Experimental Carbon Dioxide-based Heat Pump -- Breadboard Model. This proposed effort is to continue the development and testing of a prototype 3-ton Rotary Carbon Dioxide Hermetic Compressor which is a part of the Heat Pump. The period of performance will be approximately 17 months from date of award. Award will be made IAW Simplified Acquisition Procedures. See Note 22.
