Description

The successful contractor will be responsible for insuring Quality Control at forty U. S. Army Reserve Facilities in the New England Area. Thw work consists of ensuring facilities are maintained to commercially acceptable levels by Contractors and Government agencies performing the following tasks; Facility maintenance and repair, grounds maintenance, snow removal, janitorial, and refuse collection. Other tasks include ongoing reporting of facilities problems to the Regional Engineer located at Devens Reserve Forces Training Area, Devens, MA. Each center is between 2 and 30 acres in size and the average age is 35 years old. There will be a base period of six nonths with four options each and up to nine, six month sub-options. THIS SOLICITATION IS 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. Solicitation shall be made available via the Internet on or about 3/5/01. No paper copies of the solicitation or amendments will be available. Prospective bidders, subcontractors, and plan rooms are required to self-register their firm or office on the Internet to receive the solicitation.
