Description

Item 0001: Syntactic Eyebrow Buoyancy Modules in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing No. 115-6818896 Rev. A, MIL-P-17549D, MIL-P-25421B, and Attachment (1) to the solicitation, with all 1/2-inch NICU Tapping Plates installed. Quantity: 6 Sets. Item 0002: First Article Testing. If vendor's foam has not been previously hi-shock qualified by NAVSEA, First Article Test Reports must be submitted with the proposal by the solicitation closing date in order to be considered for award. Manufacture and test syntactic foam blocks 12"X12"X12". Quantity: 5 Each. Item 0003: Contract Data Requirements. Item 0004: Syntactic Eyebrow Module Shipping Cradles. Quantity: 2 Sets. Delivery of 1 Set of modules to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, VA and 5 Sets to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, NH. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued. The request for solicitation number is N00102-01-R-0909 and incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition circular 97-20. This solicitation is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Prospective awardee must be registered on Central Contractor Registration prior to award. The solicitation will be posted and available on the web at www.neco.navy.mil on or about 6 March 2001. The closing date for receipt of proposals is 6 April 2001 at 3:00 PM local time.
