Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to procure on a sole source basis, a quantity of nineteen (19) Particle Counter and Power Supply: P/N: CM20.9090.USN, Carrying Case: P/N: B.894.614 BS and Ultrasonic Bath: P/N: B.84.007 from UCC Inc, 1273 North Church Street, Morrestown, NJ 08057-1115. The Particle Counter is required to verify the cleanliness of fluid from aircraft and support equipment hydraulic systems. The Government intends to procure these items under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The Government does not own data, drawings, or other specifications to permit full and open competition. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses should reference N68335-01-R-0159. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Navy anticipates a firm fixed-price contract. No solicitation will be available for this procurement.
