Description

The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) intends to issue a Sole Source contract under FAR Part 12 to Verizon California, Inc., for 2 VESTA 911 Emergency consoles. These consoles are required to augment the California State 911 system currently located at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. and must be identical to those purchased by the State of California. This is not a request for proposal. There are no solicitation documents. Vendors desiring to submit offers demonstrating their capability to provide Verizon VESTA consoles must submit a proposal identifying all hardware components in sufficient detail for comparison to the VESTA console. If it is determined an offeror can provide the required VESTA console, the Government reserves the right to proceed with the sole source award or issue a competitive solicitation based on the best interests of the Government. Vendors must submit their requests to Directorate of Contracting, AFFTC/PKAA (Ms. Collins), 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Bldg. 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-6351. If no requests are received by 02 MARCH 2001, a contract will be issued to Verizon California to provide theses consoles. For information, please contact Leanne Collins at (661) 277-9553.
