NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO AMETEK-ROTRON FOR FILTER BANDS. POC Sylvia Just, Contract Specialist, Phone Number (309) 782-1058. DESC: Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, U.S. Army Tank Automotive Armament and Chemical Command, Attn: AMSTA-CM-ARCC, Rock Island, IL, intends to contract with Ametek-Rotron on a sole source basis to acquire Filter Bands, NSN 5915-01-290-6482, Part Number D5-19-9888, for end item M93 GPFU. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing, and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to the above address (Attn: Sylvia Just). This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice, but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this solicitation, a contract will be issued without further notice.
