Description

It is the intent of this contract to obtain trash removal services at the United States District Court, 300 NE 1st Avenue, Miami, Florida. The contractor shall provide all necessary management, supervision, labor, material, supplies, equipment, scheduling, coordination, and transportation to haul, dispose, and return one seventeen(17)-cubic-yard compactor, twice per week, each Tuesday and Friday. The successful contractor shall comply with local, state, and federal refuse collection and disposal regulations. The contractor is to provide weight tickets for each haul on a monthly basis. It behooves the contractor to comply with the City of Miami's Code Section 22-2 as it relates to the franchisee's list. It behooves the contractor to utilize a properly certified disposal facility in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. The base performance period shall be from June 1, 2001 to May 31, 2002 and will have four one-year options. Each option year is subject to the FAR clause 52.232-19, titled Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year (APR 1984). Bid, performance and payment bonds, are required. The government will evaluate bids for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the price for the base performance period. Evaluation of options will not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). This procurement is unrestricted pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 562111. (Sic Code is 4953, size standard is $6.0 million). Solicitation should be available on or about 23 February 2001.
