Description

The USDA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Parr Instrument Company pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253 (1)-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for the following: 1) Model 555-T-XHD(C20)-C20-480-VS.75-CA3-1000-BDV-MH-DD-4842-ASME-TDM-AS pressure reaction apparatus, 5 gallon, with head, cylinder, internal wetted parts and 120 in/lb magnetic stirrer of carpenter 20CB3; external valves and fittings of T316SS; 0-1000 PSI gage, 1000 PSI rupture disc; double valve assembly; dip tube, gas release valve and thermowell; 3/4 HP variable speed motor; three zone aluminum block heater; direct drive, manual hoist, PID temperature control, 480 volt, ASME code stamped; tachometer package and alternate anchor stirrer with PTFE wiper blades. This is a 3 zone aluminum block calrod heating system with integrated cooling system coils which must interface with proprietary control software developed specifically for this identical control unit already being utilized for research. The NAICS Code is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.*****
