Description

The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to procure digital audio/visual maintenance for equipment located at NIMA on a sole source basis from Video Dynamics, Inc. In addition, the contractor shall provide monthly on-site preventative maintenance service calls for the period of performance, 01 March 2001 through 28 February 2002. Based upon information available at this time, NIMA considers the required maintenance to be sole-source and plans to enter into non-competitive discussions with Video Dynamics, Inc. Any responses to this synopsis should contain sufficient technical documentation and descriptive literature to sufficiently describe maintenance capabilities. Publicly available commercial pricing information in response to the above description is also requested in as much detail as possible. Neither a draft statement of work nor specifications are available. The Government will not pay for information provided in response to this synopsis. The Government plans to acquire the maintenance services pursuant to FAR Part 13 -- Simplified Acquisition Services. Technical and Commercial price information responding to this request should be received by close of business 28 February 2001. Only written responses will be considered.
