Description

Pensacola Naval Air Station will be hosting an ON-SITE Technology Expo on Thursday, April 26, 2001. This event is being promoted to all station personnel at Pensacola, Corry Station, and Saufley Field, Whiting Field and more! Pensacola is home to the Naval Headquarters of Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron (Blue Angels), Training Wing 6, Naval Aerospace Medical Institute, Naval Aviation Schools Command, Navy Depot, and Gaining Naval Air Technical Training Center. There are approximately 25,000 military and civilian personnel employed here! 18 VIPs and over 275 personnel attended our last expo here in June 2000! Since 1971, NAS Pensacola has been home to the Chief of Naval Education and Training (CNET), an organization which manages hundreds of activities worldwide, from recruit and technical training, to officer indoctrination and officer postgraduate education.
