Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Government intends to award this procurement on a Sole Source basis to Ampex Data Systems Corp. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase "165/GB Tape Cartridges for Ampex Data Systems DIS 160i Recorder". Quantity is for 288 tapes, 30 of which must be delivered on or before 1 April 2001, with the balance following in varying quantities. NAICS Code is 334310; size standard is 750. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items applies. A completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items must be submitted with quote.
