- Reconstruction of approximately 1,040 feet (0.20 miles) of existing Bituminous Surface Treatment (FDR 41)> Pay items include: Crushed Aggregate, Type Surface, Grade 26 -- 60 tons (estimated) (shoulder construction); Hot Bituminous Pavement, Grading SM-2A(L) -- 290 tons (estimated) -- (tack coat); Sign and Post Installation -- 3 each (contractor furnish 4 x 4 x 8' posts, labor and installation). The work is located on the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests, Glenwood/Pedlar Ranger District, Augusta County, VA.
