Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport intends to acquire through full and open competition the following items (one each) to fabricate film from one or more polymers in powder, granule, or pellet form: 1. Extruder Drive, 2. Control consol, 3. Screw Fed Hopper, 4. Metering Gear Pump, 5. Horizontal Adj. Ribbon Die, 6. Combined Press/Temp Sensor, 7. clean-up Kit, 8. Twin screw extruder with screws. Detailed specifications and requirements for these items will be made available with the solicitation. This procurement will be processed using commercial procedures per FAR part 12. The solicitation will be issued in less than 15 days per FAR 5.203(a) & (h), and will establish a response time of less than 30 days per FAR 5.203(b) & (h). Delivery to NUWC Division Newport will be required. The NAICS code is 333999. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
