Description

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) plans to negotiate a Purchase Order with the University of Iowa for co-sponsorship of the International Driver Symposium on Human Factors in Driver Assessment, Training and Vehicle Design. The symposium will provide meaningful human-factor information and identify key issues which are intergral to the success of the National Advanced Driving Simulator (NADS). Because this symposium is being coordinated and conducted by the University of Iowa, they are the only available source to provide co-sponsorship for this conference. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is March 08, 2001.
