Description

This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial installation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-21. The Television-Audio Support Activity proposes to procure upgrade of the current local area network to support gigabit Ethernet speed for a high speed printer at the Training support center. FOB destination to Ft. Stewart, GA 31314. Pre-bid Site survey is strongly recommended. Interested bidders are must contact Jon Ursino at 916-643-0321, fax to 916-643-4730 , or via email at ursino@tasa-exchange.army.mil with the name, title(s) and number of staff planning to attend on company letterhead by 28 Feb 01. The site survey is planned for 8 March 01 at 1:00 pm. Performance shall be completed within 60 days after receipt of Order. This is a small- business, small purchase set-aside. To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this quotation, contractor must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, NO EXCEPTIONS. The following clauses and provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, with the following sub-clauses: 52.222-21, 52-222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.232-33; and DFARS 252.212-7001, with the following sub-clauses: 252.225-7001 and 252.225-7007.
