- Description
- This is the second posting for the Browser-Based HTTP over HML Payment and Indicia Solution. The previous postings was No. 50D952, dated February 16, 2001. Question 1: Is the due date of February 23, 2001 a firm date or will it be extended? Answer: It is a firm date and we do not anticipate extending this deadline. Question 2: Clarify the requirement of the process for becoming certified by USPS Postal Technology Management? Answer 2: As the previous CBD notice stated, the supplier must be Information Based Indicia Program performance criteria compliant. The supplier can obtain a copy of the certification prodedures from www.usps.com/ibip. Further instructions click on program documentation link and you will able to access documents regarding product submission procedures and performance criteria. NOTE: It is estimated that the IBIP Certification is an eight-month process. Question 3: Can international suppliers compete? Answer #2: Any company whose product can meet the product submission procedures and performance criteria is eligible to compete.
