Description

The purpose of this solicitation is to obtain machine pile or crush slash created from precommercial thinning or whip falling. This will be an indefinite quantity contract with one base year and 2 optional years. An estimated total for the base year is 200 acres of slash and brush treatment. Government will evaluate contractor's past performance, technical capabilities, and pricing. Award will be based on the best value for the Government. The Contractor shall furnish all equipment, fuel, maintenance, supervision, transportation, materials, tools and supplies, (except those designated as Government-furnished) and incidentals to perform the work specified. Estimated issue date is March 19, 2001 and estimated open date is May 2, 2001. Approximate start work date is June 15, 2001. This project is located on the Chiloquin Ranger District of the Winema National Forest, Klamath County, Oregon. This is a total small business set-aside.
