Description

This solicitation is for a multi year contract; for 430.3 miles of Level II and 231.6 miles of Level III road maintenance services on the Beckwourth and Mt. Hough Ranger District(s) and 124.2 miles of Level II road maintenance on the Feather River Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest for 2001. For 2002 the estimated miles are 525 miles of Level II and 245 miles of Level III road maintence services on the Beckwourth and Mt. Hough Ranger District(s) and 200 miles of Level II road maintenance on the Feather River Ranger District of the Plumas National Forest. Work on Level II and Level II roads consists of removing logs, rocks, minor slides, debris, washouts, cleaning catchbasins, ditches, and other drainage structures. This requires at least one backhoe/loader. In addition, Level III road maintenance consists of surface blading with grader and water truck. This acquisition will be performed under FAR Part 12 Commercial Services. See Note 1.
