Description

NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV, China Lake, CA intends to negotiate on an other-than-competitive basis with SEI, Asheville, NC for a firm fixed price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N68936-00-G-0103 for Low Profile Floatation Collars (LPFC), derivatives, subsystems/components and related assemblies and support development, testing, training and modification of the collars for China Lake. Order 0003 will be for maximum quantity of 3,700 of Left Hand Beaded Handle (P/N 103251-3) and 3,700 Right Hand (P/N 103251-4) Beaded Handles Modification Kits for retrofitting LPU-34/P Low Profile Flotation Collars (P/N 830AS250-3) currently in the Fleet. SEI is the manufacture of the LPFC's. SEI retains proprietary rights to the floatation collars and is the only source for these collars and the modification kits. Delivery: 180 days after date of award of order. FOB: Destination. Solicitation will be issued on or about March 14, 2001 and will be available through the China Lake 2.0 Contracts Competency homepage at http://www.nawcwpns.navy.mil/~contract/homepubl.htm.
