Description

UNICOR, FEDERAL PRISON INDUSTRIES intends to enter into a three year firm fixed price requirements type contract for micore. The solicitation number is FN1035 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Item 0001 PRB0108, "Tx4'Wx8'L, MINERAL BOARD, Estimated Qty: 5250, U/I: Each, Item 0002 PRB0109- "x4'Wx10L, MINERAL BOARD, Estimated Qty: 3750 U/I: Each. Period of performance is date of award through three(3) years. Deliveries are to made to UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, 446 Greenbag Road, Morgantown, WV 26507. All items are to be delivered FOB Destination. Delivery is 30 days after receipt of each delivery order. Delivery order minimum is 90 each per line item, delivery order maximum is 1,000 each per line item. Bid samples are required of all offerors prior to offer closing date. UNICOR Morgantown will provide samples upon written request to the contracting officer. Variation in quantity is +/- 5%. This is a full and open competitive Request for Proposal. Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: past performance, quality and price. Additional information will be provided in solicitation document. No copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Offerors may receive a copy of the solicitation by logging onto UNICOR'S Webpage at www.UNICOR.gov/procurement/profurniture.htm. The solicitation will be available on or about March 5, 2001.
