Description

Naval Air Warfare Center -- Weapons Division (NAWCWD), Point Mugu, California, intends to issue a solicitation and award a contract on a sole source basis to RIFOCS Corporation of Camarillo, California, for 1 each Opto-Electronics Short Haul Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR). The equipment must meet form, fit and exact critical function capabilities. The OTDR model OFM130-1300SM9 manufactured by Opto-Electronics Incorporated is the only currently available unit that meets functional restrictions while providing a rugged, portable, outside-the-lab chassis/case (for reliable testing in the field), and rapid, easy to interpret test results. FOB Destination pricing is requested. Delivery within 16 weeks aro. This is not a request for bids. Closing date of the Request for Quotation will be on or before 03/08/01. All responsible sources may submit a bid which if received in a timely manner will be considered by the agency. All requests for a copy of the RFQ must be made in writing.
