Description

The work includes construction of a Petroleum Oil Lubricant (POL) Facility. The facility is comprised of two aboveground storage tanks (668 cubic meters each), a pump and filter station and two truck loading and unloading stations, canopy, and site improvements. Work is inclusive of all supporting trades, including but not limited to site work, utilities, roads, structural foundations, canopy, and the electrical power and controls to make the fuel system operational. This project also includes an Operations Building as an additive bid item (ABI 0001AA). All work to make the Fuel Operations Building operational shall be included in this additive bid item, including but not limited to the pre-engineered building, site work, septic tank, building foundation, mechanical and electrical systems inside the building. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and transportation to perform all work described in the specifications. The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 12 April 2001. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS)code for this project is 234930 with a size standard of $27,500,000. This project is not set aside for small business. Large businesses shall submit a subcontracting plan prior to award of the contract.
