Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Removal and installation of carpet. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, and materials necessary to remove existing carpet and provide and install new carpet for the 69th APS CCQ/210, 459th AW/FW, 3623 Seattle Ave., Andrews AFB, MD. It is estimated that two floors of approximately 780sq ft of carpet coverage will be required, however, contractor_s should verify the exact square footage required before issuing any quotes. A site visit is tentatively scheduled for March 5th, 2001 at 1300hrs, in Bldg #3623. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to Andrews AFB, MD. Responses to this RFQ must be received by 1600hrs (Eastern Standard Time), March 9th, 2001. Contract award will be made to the lowest responsible offeror. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR Part 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items; FAR Part 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; and FAR Part 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. All potential contractors must be registered with Central Contractor Registration. The toll-free phone number for contractor registration is 800-334-3414. Registration must be done immediately upon retrieval of this synopsis in order to be considered for award. This acquisition is 100 % Set-Aside for Small Business.
