Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization, Computer Technology Division, (DITCO-DTS6), Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to SSS Communications Security, Inc. for the acquisition of Secure Shell Unix Server software and annual support for Defense Security Service (DSS) Baltimore, Maryland. The period of performance for the support is 12 months (6 Jun 2001 -- 5 Jun 2002). The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 40 U.S.C. 759 (g), as amended, specific make and model. Companies who can provide the above listed proprietary products must indicate their interest within 2 days of this advertisement. Oral communications are not acceptable. Estimated date of award is 6 March 2001. No contract award will be made on the basis of quotations/proposals received in response to this notice since this synopsis can not be considered a Request for Quotation/Proposal. The resultant contract will be firm-fixed price. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order.
