Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared IAW FAR 12.6 and supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the solicitation; proposals are due by 19 Mar 01 at 2:00 PM. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are governed by FAC 97-22. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and is advertised for full and open competition on an 100% small business set aside. Applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code and size standard are 513340 and $11,000,000. Proposals are requested for FA2453-01-T-0019. Statement of Work is to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision and other items and supplies necessary to install satellite TV for both national and local TV into the audiovisual system within SBIRS IMCSB facility in Boulder, CO in accordance with the statement of work. Solicitation will be available at http://www.eps.gov/ or by email request, Marjorie.Watson@buckley.af.mil on or about 1 March 2001. Contractor must request copies of the Fiber Optic Equipment Housing Diagram and the Floor Plan of the IMCSB attachments by e-mail. Site visit will be on 12 March 01. (See FAR 52.252-6 of Quote). Request for Quote will close on 19 March 2001. Interested businesses shall include the information at FAR 52.212-3 (Offeror Representation and Certifications for Commercial Items) with their DUNS, Cage & Tax ID Numbers and be Electronic Funds Transfer and Central Contractor Registration compliant. FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5 apply to this acquisition. Offerors must acquaint themselves with the regulations concerning Commercial Item acquisition contained at FAR 12. Offerors not in possession of the referenced clauses in text may obtain them at http://acqnetsarda.army.mil. Department of Labor Wage Determination 94-2081 (Rev 14) for the Boulder area applies. Required Wage Rates are listed at www.ceals.usace.army.mil. Evaluation will be based on Price and other factors.(See Quote FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation) All responsible sources are invited to express their interest to this solicitation. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. Potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry to be eligible for award.
