Description

RECREATION AREA SITE MAINTENANCE -- The US Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul District, will require the performance of maintenance services for the Baldhill Dam/Lake Ashtabula Recreation Areas in Valley City, North Dakota. The requirement includes furnishing all plant, materials, equipment, supplies, labor and transportation necessary to conduct grass mowing, trimming, trash removal and disposal, cleaning of visitor center, comfort stations, privies, fish cleaning facilities and other miscellaneous duties pertaining to recreational facilities and equipment. The requirement includes a basic purchase of services from 24 April 2001 through 15 September 2001, plus 2 option years of the outlined services in the same timeframe for the subsequent years. Option years will be exercised at the discretion of the Government. Contractor is encouraged to investigate the work site to ascertain conditions of topography and access and other features which may affect performance of work and to determine equipment needs. The procurement is to be set aside 100% for small business and awarded utilizing commercial item simplified acquisition procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 561730 with a small business size standard of $5.0 Million. The solicitation package is expected to be available approximately 6 March 2001 with quotations due on or about 23 March 2001. There is no charge for this solicitation package.
