Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate with Gilson, Incorporated on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source, for the purchase of the following: Model 305 Programmable HPLC Pump Control Module, Qty. 1, Model 306 HPLC Pump Control Module, Qty 1, Model 10 WTI Titanium Pump Head, Qty. 2, Model 805 Manometric Module, Qty. 1, Manometric Adapter, Qty. 1, Model 811C Titanium Analytical Dynamic Mixer, Qty. 1, Manual Injection Valve Assembly, Qty. 1, Assembly package for binary gradient HPLC systems, Qty. 1, 151 UV/VIS Detector, Qty. 1, Gilson 712 HPLC System Controller Software for Microsoft Windows based systems, Qty. 1, Model 506C System Interface Module, Qty. 1, and System installation and training, Qty. 1. NIST is currently using a Gilson HPLC system and the additional Gilson HPLC Pump Control Modules are necessary due to the volume of work. Therefore, since the existing Gilson HPLC system will be used in unison with the new systems, it is necessary for the new systems to be Gilson HPLC systems to enable more accurate comparisons with previous results. In addition, the system components can be interchanged among the Gilson HPLC units. The delivery time for this requirement is 30 days after receipt of order and the delivery shall be FOB Destination to Gaithersburg, Maryland. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes by March 8, 2001. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) package is not available. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. However, this requirement is unrestricted. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
