Description

The Acquisition Management Department, National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD has a requirement for the C.W. Bill Young DOD Marrow Donor Program 5516 Nicholson Lane Kensington, MD. NNMC intends to award a sole sourced purchase order to Qiagen Inc. 28159 Avenue Stanford Valencia, CA 91355 for open market accessories to be utilized on the Biorobot 3000/9604 system platform which is available under GSA contract. The following items will be procured: CLIN 0001: Sixteen (16) each Tip-adapter set, medium, tip-adapter and precision syringe (1.0ml) for using 300ul and 1100ul disposable tips; CLIN 0002: Four (4)each High speed pipeting system (external) computer-controlled, high precision peristaltic pump with solenoid valves, reagent delivery module, bottles and tubing; CLIN 0003: Four (4)each SamTrak system tube holder (24) bar-code reader for positive identification of primary sample tubes, accomodates up to 12 x tube holders; CLIN 0004: Four (4) each Labhand system V. robotic handling system for moving labware such as 96-well plates on the worktable; CLIN 0005: Four (4) each Varispan system unit for adjusting the space between pipetting probes or tip adapters during processing; CLIN 0006: Four (4) each Variheat system computer-controlled, variable-temperature heating system; CLIN 0007: Four (4)each Tip-disposal system; CLIN 0008: Four (4)each Vacuum manifold for processing 96 well plates; CLIN 0009: Four (4)each Cooling block, 96 tube 0.2ml holder for accomodating 96 tubes (0.2ml) on the worktable; CLIN 0010: Four (4) each Cooling block, 24 tube 1.5ml holder for 24 tubes; CLIN 0011: Four (4)each Cooling block, 1 tube 13ml for 13ml single tubes; CLIN 0012: Four (4)each Reagent holder, tubes and bottles, holder for 4 microtubes (1.5ml), 4 tubes (13ml) and 2 bottles (125ml and 60ml) on the worktable; CLIN 0013: Four (4)each Pager system; CLIN 0014: Four (4)each Reagent holder, 3 troughs 20ml holder for 3 disposable troughs (20ml)for use with multiple-channel pipetting systems; CLIN 0015: Four (4)each Tube holder for SamTrak conical 2ml tubes (6)holder for accommodating 8 conical tubes (2ml)in the SamTrak system,pack of 6; CLIN 0016: Twenty-four (24)each TipPack holder for accommodating 96 conducting tips; CLIN 0017: Twelve (12)each Microplate station, short for acommodating a 96-well plate (or other labware with the same base dimensions)on the worktable; CLIN 0018: Twelve (12)each Microplate station, tall; CLIN 0019: Eight (8)each Centrifuge 4-15c and 2x96 plate rotor. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
