- Description
- NASA/LaRC is hereby soliciting information for potential sources for an Optical Spectrum Analyzer for use with pulsed sources fulfilling the following specifications: (a) Measures and displays graphically in real-time the spectral characteristics of individual laser pulses; (b) Wavelength measurement range at least 400 to 1100 nanometers; (c) Free spectral range at least 5 Gigahertz; (d) Finesse >50 for narrowband operation, >25 for broadband operation; (e) Optical bandwidth for a given set of mirrors >100 nanometers; (f) Wavelength measurement accuracy +/-1% or better; (g) Mimimum pulse input energy = 20 microJoules or less; (h) Minimum CW input power = 400 microWatts or less; (i) Input aperture = 1.5 millimeters or greater; (j) Update rate at least 15 Hertz; and (k) Instrument shall allow for interchangeable mirrors and etalons to allow for different center wavelengths and different free spectral ranges. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in the CBD and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these cites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis. Vendors having the capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements are invited to submit appropriate documentation, literature, brochures, and references.
