Description

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following specific make and model commercial INTEL equipment: Perle 833AS Access Server, P/N 83AAS -- 1 each; Lanrover Netstructure 3110, P/N KVPN3110 -- 6 each; Mass Deployment Tool, P/N VPNMDT1 -- 1 each; VPN Certificate Pro-NT only, P/N VPNSCAPR01 -- 1 each. This procurement shall be done on a Limited Source Basis from authorized INTEL resellers only. The above items are required to provide secure external connections to the AEGIS Computer Center (ACC) Networks. All items will include the manufacturer's standard warranty. A Make/Model Sole Source procurement for the manufacturer's product is necessary since the systems being built must replicate the system developed by Lockheed Martin at the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site in Moorestown, NJ. To maintain compatibility and ensure functional capability, it is imperative that the specified manufacturer provides the components and computer program applications. These items will be acquired utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All items are to be priced FOB Destination Dahlgren, VA. The closing date is 16 March 2001. Award is anticipated to be made by 23 March 2001 and delivery by 31 May 2001. The Government will award a purchase order from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose offer confirms to this solicitation, meets all the specifications for each item at the overall lowest delivered price, has a satisfactory performance history, and is registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY (CBD) NOTICE.
