Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW subparts in the FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional info included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The VA Network Business Center, Long Beach, intends to procure forty four (44) each PDI Brand name or equal to 9" personal TVs stock# PDI-Z9TV-F. Along with the TVs the following components are to be purchased: one (1) master programming remote stock#PDI-108-209; forty four (44) each Arm Oshpod stock#PDI-403C; forty four (44) each wall mounts stock# PDI-178C; two (2) each 20 tap power supply Stock# PDI-773-UL; and one (1) each 10 tap power supply stock# PDI-772-UL. All supplies and materials must meet NFPA: No. 70 of NEC, No. 78 Lighting Protection Code, No. 99 Standards for Health Care Facilities. As well as U/L pub: No. 1410 Television Receivers and Video Products and No. 1069 Standard for Hospital Signaling and Nurse Call Equipment. Offerors must offer the Government at least the same warranty terms offered to the general public in customary commercial practice. The Offeror must also provide all service data manuals. The Contractor warrants that at the time of delivery, all items will be free from defects in material and workmanship. The Delivery Schedule is NLT 60 days after receipt of order. Delivery terms shall be FOB Destination. The products shall be delivered to the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA San Diego Healthcare Systems 3350 La Jolla Village Dr. San Diego, CA 92161. Offeror shall submit a completed copy of representations and certifications at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification Commercial Items (Oct 1999).
