Description
The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment to replace the existing fire detection and alarm system in the UEPH Building with an addressable fire detection and alarm system and other new and demolition work. The new system shall include a new addressable fire alarm control panel, heat detectors, ceiling smoke detectors, manual pull stations, audible/visual notification appliances and transient voltage surge suppressors. The contractor shall replace the existing transmitter antenna on the roof and the coaxial cables between the antenna and the transmitter with a government furnished directional antenna and coaxial cable. There is no charge for the Request for Quotation (RFQ) package. No telephone requests shall be accepted. All requests for this package must be in writing. Requests may be faxed to 305-278-6696. This RFQ is being issued as a Small Business Set-Aside. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. The applicable North American Industry Class System (NAICS) Code is 235310. The small business size standard is a three-year averaged annual gross receipt of $11.5M. The contract performance period is 60 calendar days. Payment Bond is required prior to issuance of Notice to Proceed. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT_s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000.00.
