Description

Two standard or restricted category, Type I Helicopters (5,000 lbs card weight capacity and 700 gallon retardant capacity) with an Airtanker Board approved fixed retardant tank, fully operated by qualified personnel for initial attack firefighting purposes. Services will be performed at the following locations: ITEM #1 Prescott Municipal Airport, located near Prescott, AZ, estimated contract period from May 15, 2000 through July 1, 2001, and continuing on to French Valley Airport located near Temecula, CA, estimated contract period from July 1, 2001 through November 15, 2001 ITEM #2 Van Nuys Airport located near Van Nuys, CA estimated contract period from June 1, 2001 to November 15, 2001. Contract duration for both items is one year from date of award, with the possibility of two -- one-year renewal periods. When calling be prepared to state name, address, and solicitation number.
