- Description
- The National Park Service, Boston Support Office, 15 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts is seeking a qualified firm to develop miscellaneous comprehensive marketing and public relations strategies to enhance the image and perception of National Park Service sites within the New England Cluster of the Northeast Region and to promote and position these as destinations for visitors. The New England Cluster is comprised of 28 sites within the six New England states, New York, and New Jersey. The contractor shall develop and implement strategic public relation and marketing campaigns. Services shall include at a minimum (1) An analysis of public relations tasks to be performed by NPS and those tasks to be implemented by the contractor; (2) Identification, development and placement of positive stories; (3) Development of an annual media plan; (4) Recommendation and assistance in the production of media events; (5) Enhance and increase the awareness of the prestigious National Park Service image to increase attendance in those parks; (6) And develop an implementation plan contemplated by the proposed contract. The National Park Service anticipates awarding an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity task-order-based contract with a base term plus 4 option years. The totals of all task orders per year will not exceed $100,000 and each work order will not exceed $50,000. The awarded contractor is guaranteed a minimum amount of work valued at $10,000 during the life of the contract. Proposals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The following evaluation criteria are as follows (a) Effectiveness of addressing the goals of the NPS (b) Demonstrated experience and ability of the firm and (d) Past Performance. (d) Cost. Contractor shall submit five copies of their proposal. This Solicitation is 100 % Set-Aside for Small Business Firms. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541910 (Marketing Research and Public Opinion Polling) and the small business size standard is $5.0 million. Interested firms should submit a written request for RFP N1720010016 to the Contracting Officer, National Park Service, 15 State Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02109-3572 or via facsimile to 617-223-5208. No telephone requests will be accepted. The Request for Proposal will be issued approximately March 16 2001 and proposals are due approximately April 16, 2001.
