Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for an indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity rental contract for the rental of forklifts, manlifts and scissorlifts.The contractor shall provide on-site maintenance, with a response time of eight hours after notification. Contractor must obtain required badges for access to Controlled Industrial Areas. Delivery is FOB Destination to various addresses with Navy Region Northwest. Period of Performance is 24 May 01 through 23 May 02. FISC Puget Sound is contemplating a split award resulting from this solicitation. This requirement will be solicited using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 19 March 2001 with a 30 day closing date. No notes apply. This solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in a Microsoft Office '97 or Adobe Acrobat Portable Document Format (.pdf), and will reside on a World Wide Web server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site, or URL, for the Navy electronic commerce page is http://www.neco.navy.mil CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government will not maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same.
