Description

The solicitation is for the rental on an as needed basis for a front end loader, Caterpillar 963, or equivalent equipped with a 3.5 or 4.2 cubic yard bucket, heated and air-conditioned cab with roll over protective structure and a bulldozer, Caterpillar Model D8 or equivalent, equipped with heated and air-conditioned cab with ROPS. Proposals for equal equipment must be submitted with descriptive literature supporting that all minimum salient characteristics have been met. Offerors shall provide monthly pricing for each item. Contractor shall provide rental and all required maintenance. Equipment shall be rented on an as needed basis for the required length of time. Contractor shall be capable of delivering the required equipment within 24 hours of notification by the government of a requirement. This contract shall be for period of one year from the date of award. Responses due by 19 March 2001. Written requests may be datafaxed to 717-267-9834. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. This is being issued as a written quotation. The anticipated award date is 2 April 2001.
