Description

17. Provide all plant, labor, materials and equipment for removing and disposing of a sunken barge located approximately at mile 865.2 AHP lower Mississippi River at station 132plus00 along the Little Cypress Bend revetment approximately 75 feet from the descending right bank. Removing and disposal of the barge wreckage, any contents that may exist within the entire barge, and performing all cleanup operations including existing articulate concrete mattress (acm) revetment protection covering the barge. The contractor will be required to begin work within 7 days of award and completion will be required within 45 days of start date. The anticipated award date is 2 April 2001. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. Award will be made based on price and past performance. This will be an unrestricted procurement. NAICS Code 488330 applies to this acquisition. The solicitation will be a request for quote and award will be made using commercial item/simplified acquisition procedures.
