Description

The Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office, Kansas City, is seeking to procure for the Marine Corps Reserve Support Command conference facilities and sleeping rooms to support their annual prior service recruiting conference scheduled for 26 30 November 01. The conference facility must seat 175 persons when configured in a classroom setting. The conference facility must support various types of Government furnished audiovisual equipment with projection screens, podium and microphones and the hotel must have additional audivisual equipment available for use if needed. 125 sleeping rooms are required during the conference period, with no more than 20 available for smoking. The rooms should have two double beds, data port capability, ironing boards and irons, coffeemakers and hairdryers located in the room. The hotel must be 3 and stars or better, located in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The hotel must be within easy walking distance of restaurants, laundry facilities, dry cleaners and shopping. The hotel must offer assistance with airport transportation and a shuttle to local attractions. The hotel must have a restaurant offering moderately priced lunch and dinner meals with a breakfast buffet including at least eggs, two choices of meats, cereal, breads/pastry and a selection of beverages at a minimum. The NAICS code is 561591, with a small business size standard of $5 million. This procurement is unrestricted. Funds are not presently available for this procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or about 21 March 01 with a closing date on or about 24 April 01.
