Description

U S Robert Morris Acquisition Center, White Sands Division, White Sands Missile Range intends an acquisition under other than full and open competition, pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, due to proprietary source for direct replacement parts: FreeWave Technologies Inc., 1880 South Flatiron Court, Boulder, CO 80301 for the purchase of : 9 each, Transceiver board, 1.428 1.454 GHz, RS232, 6V, straight SMA connector, P/N GSWSRRFS; 6 each, Transceiver in ruggedized enclosure, 6 volts, 1.428 1.454 GHz, P/N DGWSR-RF, Mfg FreeWave. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3661. Delivery is FOB Destination within 30 days of award. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes Request for Quotation (RFQ) W81C39-0052-2500A. Quotations with certifications and representations, and Tax Identification Number (TIN) shall be submitted before 16 March 2001, 1400 hours MTZ. This solicitation incorporates the following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provisions: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions of Offerors Commercial, FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. This solicitation also incorporates Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS) clause 252.2252-7000, Buy American Act Balance of Payments Program Certificate. The awarded contract will incorporate the following FAR clauses: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items (May 1999); and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items (Aug 2000), including 52.203-6, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, and 52.232-36. THE CONTRACT WIL BE PAID BY VISA CARD ONLY. The awarded contract will also incorporate the following DFARS clauses: DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisition of Commercial Items (Aug 2000), including 252.205-7000, 252.225-7001, 252.247-7023, and 252.247-7023.
