Description

This announcement constitutes the Government's intent to award a Firm Fixed Price contract for the procurement of two impellers, two each motor and suction side head liners, two stationary and adjustable throat pieces, and two hardware kits for our sea-going Dredge McFARLAND. The prospective contractor will be required to provide all the necessary labor; materials and services and equipment to fabricate, preserve and package the required parts in accordance with the specifications and drawings to be provided by the Government. This requirement is being issued as an Invitation For Bid (IFB) under Solicitation No. DACW61-01-B-0008. This acquisition is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business concerns with a North American Industry Classification System No. of 421830 and a Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) of 5084. The small business size standard is 100 employees. DELIVERY: The desired delivery for this requirement is within 160 calendar days from the date of an award. The required delivery is 270 calendar days from the date of an award. The contractor will be responsible for the cost of shipping patterns to and from the casting site and from and to the destination. The contractor shall include the shipping costs in each of the respective line items. Final delivery will be to the Fort Mifflin Distribution Center, U. S. Army Reservation, 6400 Hog Island Road, Paschall Post Office Station, Philadelphia, PA 19153 M/F Dredge McFARLAND. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database to be eligible for award. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about 3 April 2001 with an anticipated due date of 3 May 2001 at 1430 hours.
