Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items issued by the Contracting Office, Offutt AFB, NE and prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number F6HXOY10510100 is being issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-10. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. The government intends to issue a purchase order for (1) 21 each, Sun Ultra 60 Model 1450, 1X450MHZ, Ultra Sparc-II, 4MB L2 cache, 512MB memory, Creator 3D, series 3D Graphics, 36GB 10k RPM internal drive. Standard configuration. Part #A23-ULD1-EPROMO or A23-ULD1-9L-512AV. (2) 21 each, Sun Microsystems UPGRADE from ULTRA SPARC Workstation to Ultra 60. Item ID: ALW-10-T-C-A23. System will be returned without Hard Drives. Certification of Destruction for hard drives will be provided by USSTRATCOM/J631 or Users shipping the turn-in units. Request turn-in be extended to 90 days since some units need to be returned from other locations other than USSTRATCOM. (3) 21 each, Sun Microsystems SOLARIS 7 Server Media, 11/99. U.S. Server Media.
