Description

The U.S. Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command intends to conduct negotiations with and award a contract to Advanced Mechanical Technology, Inc, 176 Waltham Street, Watertown, Massachusetts 02474-4809, on a basis of other than full and open competition, reference FAR 6.302-1(a) for four each Model MC1-6-500 underwater, 6 component load cell, 500 lb, Fz capacity; four sets connectors and wiring for load cells and amplifiers, four each Model MSA-6 Six-channel Mini-amp signal conditioner.amplifier, two sets custom fabricated backpack load cell mounting hardware and two sets custom fabricated post and clamps for backpack hip/waist belt. Vendor built the first 2 of above devices that are now in use in the biomechanics lab and it is critical that these additonal devices are fully interchangeable and compatible.
