Description

Construction to rehabilitate Dam No. 6, Potato Creek Watershed, Upson County, Georgia. Work to include mobilization/demobilization, clearing and grubbing, pollution control, temporary mulching, protective cover, construction surveys, removal of water, excavation, earthfill, coarse and fine drainfill, salvage and spread topsoil, Class 4000 concrete, steel reinforcement, perforated and nonperforated PVC pipe, type I riprap, quality control, geotextile, roller compacted concrete, cement plus pozzolan for roller compacted concrete and other items incidental to the work. A site showing is scheduled for April 18, 2001 at 10:00 AM. All interested bidders should plan to meet at the Upson County/City of Thomaston Complex, 305 S. Hightower, Suite 160, Thomaston, GA 30286. Bid opening May 2, 2001 at 11:00 AM in Athens, Georgia. Solicitation packages will be available on April 2, 2001. No packages will be mailed for request received after April 28, 2001. Copies are limited.
