Description

The work to be performed under this solicitation includes: (1) sealing cracks; (2) brooming; (3) furnishing and applying liquid asphalt binder and cover aggregate (chip and seal coat) on approximately 2.7 miles of 24-foot wide roadway (25-foot wide chip seal coat), and approximately 19,421 sq yds of service and parking area; and (4) identifying and placing pavement markings at the Buffalo Bill Visitor Center parking areas. The estimated price range of the work is $100,000 to $250,000. The work is located near the Buffalo Bill Powerplant, which is approximately 5 miles west of Cody, Wyoming in Park County. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available April 3, 2001. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before April 24, 2001. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for May 8, 2001, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming 82644. The contract is to be completed within approximately 60 days. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each. After issuance, the solicitation may be viewed, without charge, at the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, Federal Building, 316 North 26th Street, Billings, Montana or at the Bureau of Reclamation, Wyoming Area Office, 705 Pendell Boulevard, Mills, Wyoming. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the Bureau of Reclamation. The small business size standard is $7,000,000 and the NAICS code is 23411.
